Her stepmother brought along two sisters, who were very mean to Cinderella. Cinderella had to do a great deal of housework every day. She lived in a shabby attic and wore tattered clothes.
Even though life was tough, Cinderella never complained. She always kept a kind heart. One day, news came from the city that the prince was going to hold a grand ball and invited all unmarried girls to attend. Cinderella's two sisters were extremely excited. They were busy choosing beautiful clothes and jewelry, while Cinderella could only watch silently on the side.
Just when Cinderella was feeling down, a fairy godmother suddenly appeared in front of her. The fairy godmother saw Cinderella's kindness and misfortune and decided to help her. The fairy godmother waved her magic wand, turning the pumpkin into a magnificent carriage, the mice into fine horses, and Cinderella's shabby clothes into a beautiful ball gown.
