In a mysterious forest in Germany, there lived a group of lovely elves. They had transparent wings and lived in the tree holes of big trees. These elves liked the children in the forest the most, and the children were always looking forward to seeing the elves as well.
One day, the elves decided to give the children a magical gift. They gathered together and discussed what to give. One of the elves suggested, "We can make a magic box with stars that can fulfill wishes inside." The other elves all thought this was a great idea.
So, the elves got busy. They found the most beautiful wood and used magic to carve it into an exquisite box. Then, they flew to the depths of the forest to look for the star that could fulfill wishes in the legend. A brave elf crept into a hidden cave and, at the very bottom of the cave, found the star that was shining with a strange light.
They carefully put the star into the box and also cast a spell on the box. This spell allowed only children with pure hearts to open the box.
The elves set off with the gift. They shuttled through the forest, looking for those lovely children. They flew to a small village, where several children were playing on the grass. The elves quietly approached and placed the magic box on a large rock in the middle of the grass.
Then, the elves hid behind a big tree nearby, waiting for the children to discover the gift. The children soon noticed this beautiful box and curiously gathered around it.
One of the children reached out to take the box. The moment he touched the box, the box emitted a soft light. The other children all cried out in surprise. The child gently opened the box, and the light of the star instantly illuminated the surroundings.
The children closed their eyes and began to make wishes. Some children hoped that their sick family members would get well, some hoped to have more friends, and others hoped that the forest would always be beautiful.
Magically, their wishes came true one by one. The sick family members suddenly felt full of energy, a group of new playmates appeared beside the lonely children, and the trees in the forest became greener and the flowers bloomed more brightly.
The children knew that this was a gift from the elves. They shouted into the forest, "Thank you, elves!" Hearing the children's thanks, the elves happily flitted among the trees, and their laughter echoed throughout the forest. Since then, the children have taken better care of the forest and are also looking forward to the elves' next surprise.
