Once upon a time, there was a lovely little girl. She always wore a red hat, and everyone called her Little Red Riding Hood. Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother lived on the edge of the village, and her grandmother's house was deep in the forest. One day, her mother asked Little Red Riding Hood to take some pastries and wine to visit her sick grandmother.
Little Red Riding Hood set off happily. She walked on the forest path. The flowers on the roadside were colorful, and the birds sang merrily on the branches.
Suddenly, a big wolf sprang out from behind a tree. When the big wolf saw Little Red Riding Hood, it was secretly delighted, but it pretended to be very friendly and asked Little Red Riding Hood where she was going. Little Red Riding Hood didn't notice the danger. She told the big wolf that she was going to her grandmother's house and also told it the location of her grandmother's house. After hearing this, the big wolf ran towards her grandmother's house.
The big wolf ran to her grandmother's house and knocked on the door. Her grandmother thought it was Little Red Riding Hood, so she opened the door. The big wolf swallowed her grandmother in one gulp, then put on her grandmother's clothes and lay on the bed, pretending to be her grandmother.
When Little Red Riding Hood arrived at her grandmother's house, she felt a little strange because her grandmother's voice sounded very hoarse, her ears were very big, her eyes were very big, and her hands were very big. Little Red Riding Hood asked, "Grandmother, why are your ears so big?" The big wolf replied, "To hear you better." Little Red Riding Hood asked again, "Grandmother, why are your eyes so big?" The big wolf replied, "To see you better." Little Red Riding Hood asked once more, "Grandmother, why are your hands so big?" The big wolf replied, "To hold you better." Little Red Riding Hood finally asked, "Grandmother, why is your mouth so big?" The big wolf replied, "To eat you in one bite!" After saying that, the big wolf jumped up from the bed and wanted to eat Little Red Riding Hood.
Only then did Little Red Riding Hood realize that this was not her grandmother, but the big wolf. But she was not afraid. Instead, she calmly thought about countermeasures. She saw a large water tank beside her, so she said to the big wolf, "Grandmother, I saw some beautiful flowers outside. I want to pick some for you first." The big wolf thought for a while and agreed.
Little Red Riding Hood ran to hide behind the water tank. The big wolf waited for a while and became impatient, so it walked out of the house to look for Little Red Riding Hood.
When the big wolf walked to the water tank, Little Red Riding Hood pushed hard and pushed the big wolf into the water tank. The big wolf struggled in the water tank and couldn't climb out no matter what.
Little Red Riding Hood quickly ran into the house, cut open the big wolf's stomach with scissors, and rescued her grandmother. Her grandmother and Little Red Riding Hood were very happy. They took some big stones out of the house and put them into the big wolf's stomach, and then sewed up the big wolf's stomach.
When the big wolf woke up, it felt its stomach was very heavy. It wanted to drink water. When it walked to the well and bent down to drink water, because the stones in its stomach were too heavy, it suddenly fell into the well and drowned.
Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother hugged each other happily. Since then, Little Red Riding Hood has become braver. She knows that when facing danger, she must think calmly in order to defeat the enemy.
