In an old small town in Italy, there was a little boy named Luca. He lived in a sunny little house, and in the corner of the room, there was an exquisite music box. This music box was left to him by his grandmother, who once said that this music box had magical power.
One day, Luca was sitting sadly in the room because he couldn't find his beloved little ball. His eyes accidentally fell on that music box. The exterior of the music box was inlaid with beautiful gems, shining with charming luster in the sunlight. Luca gently opened the music box, and a melodious music slowly played.
With the music, a tiny ballerina girl slowly stood up from the music box. She was wearing a pure white ballet skirt, with curly hair and eyes as shiny as stars. She began to dance gracefully on the small stage of the music box, spinning and jumping. Luca's eyes widened in surprise. He could hardly believe what he saw. The ballerina girl waved to Luca while dancing, signaling him to come closer. Luca walked carefully towards the music box. He found that every movement of the girl was so beautiful, just like the real ballerinas he saw on TV.
After the girl finished a dance, she stopped and said to Luca in a clear voice, "My name is Aria, and I can help you find your little ball." Luca said excitedly, "Really? That's wonderful!" Aria smiled and nodded, then jumped out of the music box, and her body became about the same height as Luca.
Aria took Luca's hand and began to look for the ball in the room. First, they looked under the bed. There was a lot of dust and some old toys there, but no ball. Then they looked in the wardrobe. The wardrobe was full of Luca's clothes. Aria wriggled among the clothes, and Luca was amused and laughed heartily. Although they hadn't found the ball after a long search, Luca was no longer sad because he had Aria as his new friend.
Suddenly, Aria found a small gap under the bookshelf. She thought the ball might be in there. So, she lay on the floor and reached out hard. Luca also came to help. He moved the bookshelf a little. Finally, Aria successfully took the ball out of the gap.
Luca happily hugged the ball and said to Aria, "Thank you, Aria. You are so amazing!" Aria said with a smile, "You're welcome. It's what I should do." Just then, the music in the music box began to become low - pitched, and a trace of worry showed on Aria's face.
Aria said to Luca, "My energy is given by the music box. The low - pitched music means that I have to return to the music box." Luca was very reluctant to let Aria leave, and his eyes were full of tears. Aria gently hugged Luca and said, "Don't be sad. As long as you open the music box again, I will appear." After that, Aria slowly walked towards the music box. With the music, her figure became smaller and smaller, and finally she returned to the music box.
Luca wiped away his tears. He knew that Aria was waiting for him in the music box. Since then, whenever Luca felt lonely or unhappy, he would open the music box, and Aria would come out to accompany him. They would dance and play together in the room, and Luca would also share his little secrets with Aria.
