A long, long time ago in Greece, there was a story full of mystery and legend. At that time, there was a terrifying Gorgon named Medusa. Her hair was made up of wriggling snakes, and anyone who so much as glanced at her would turn to stone. With the help of the goddess of wisdom, Athena, the hero Perseus bravely went to challenge Medusa. Perseus was extremely cautious. He looked at Medusa through the reflection of his shield so that he would not be petrified by her gaze, and finally managed to cut off Medusa's head.
The moment Perseus cut off Medusa's head, something miraculous happened. A snow - white horse sprang from Medusa's blood. This horse had huge white wings. It was Pegasus. As soon as Pegasus was born, it flew into the sky. Its figure was vigorous and graceful, like an elf in the sky.
When Pegasus was flying in the sky, it spotted Perseus. Perseus looked at this magical horse, his heart full of surprise. Pegasus also seemed very interested in Perseus. It slowly landed beside Perseus. Perseus gently stroked Pegasus's mane, and he could feel the powerful force within Pegasus.
Since then, Pegasus has become Perseus's companion. Together they embarked on many adventures. Once, Perseus was going to look for a magical gem, which was on a cursed island. The island was surrounded by dangerous whirlpools and reefs, and ordinary ships couldn't get close at all.
But Pegasus wasn't afraid at all. It carried Perseus and flew towards the island. Pegasus nimbly weaved through the sky, avoiding one danger after another. When they were approaching the island, suddenly a huge sea monster appeared. The sea monster opened its gaping maw, trying to swallow them. Pegasus quickly ascended and then rushed towards the sea monster at an extremely fast speed, kicking hard at the sea monster's head with its hooves. The sea monster was dazed by Pegasus's attack and had to slink away.
Perseus successfully found the magical gem on the island. After that, Pegasus also accompanied Perseus through many other adventures. Their story spread across the land of Greece and became a legend on people's lips. Pegasus was also regarded by people as a divine steed, representing courage, freedom and magical power.
