On a cold winter day, snowflakes were falling in profusion, and the whole world was covered in white. In a small village, children ran out excitedly to play. On this snowy day, a magical snow child was born. It had a round body, eyes and buttons made of coal, and a nose made of a carrot, looking extremely cute. As soon as the snow child appeared, it brought endless joy to the children in the village. They ran and frolicked in the snow together, had snowball fights and made snowmen. The snow child always had a bright smile, and its laughter echoed throughout the village.
As time went by, the bond between the snow child and the children grew deeper and deeper. It accompanied the children through one wonderful winter day after another. It knew every child's little secret, and when the children felt cold, it would use its cold body to bring them a different kind of "warmth". At night, the snow child would also accompany the children to look at the stars. It pointed to the stars in the sky and told stories to the children, who were all fascinated.
However, winter would eventually pass, and the footsteps of spring were approaching gradually. The snow child knew that its time was running out, and it began to become a little melancholy. It watched as the surrounding ice and snow began to melt slowly, and its heart was full of reluctance. The children also noticed the snow child's strangeness, but they didn't understand why the snow child was no longer as lively as before.
When the first spring breeze blew through the village, the snow child's body began to melt gradually. It told the children that it had to leave because spring was the season for flowers and green leaves, and it didn't belong to this warm season. The children were very sad. They gathered around the snow child and tried to keep it with their body heat, but all in vain.
Finally, the snow child turned into a mass of water vapor and slowly rose into the sky. The children waved goodbye to it with tears in their eyes. Although the snow child left, the happy memories it brought to the children remained in their hearts forever. Every winter, the children would think of that lovely snow child and the wonderful time they had spent together.
