Treasure Hunting in the Snow

Treasure Hunting in the Snow

Story Summary

Children's adventure of looking for treasures in the snow.

In a small village in Russia, there lived a group of curious children. When winter came, the entire village was covered with thick snow, just like a white fairy - tale world. One day, the oldest man in the village told the children a legend about treasures in the snow. It was said that a long, long time ago, a great knight passed by this village and buried his most precious treasure in the snow near the village. Only the bravest and smartest children could find it.

The children were so excited after hearing this legend that they decided to form a treasure - hunting team to look for the treasure. They put on thick cotton - padded clothes and boots, hats and gloves, and took small shovels and rakes, and then set off towards the snow outside the village.

The children are looking in the woods

They came to a forest. The snow here was extremely thick, and it took a great deal of effort to take each step. But the children didn't give up. They began to search carefully in the forest. Some children dug in the snow under the big trees, and some were observing whether there were any special marks on the tree trunks. Suddenly, a child found a strange mark on a tree, like an arrow. Everyone gathered around and thought this mark might be related to the treasure. So, they continued to move forward in the direction indicated by the arrow.

The children discover a small wooden house

After walking for a while, they saw a small wooden house. The small wooden house was half - covered by snow and looked a bit dilapidated. The children carefully approached the small wooden house, wondering if the treasure was here. A bold child gently pushed open the door of the wooden house, and the door made a "creak" sound. Everyone walked into the wooden house, and there was a stale smell inside. They searched everywhere in the wooden house and found a dilapidated map with some blurry marks and routes on it. Although it was not very clear, the children thought it must be an important clue for finding the treasure.

The children follow the map to the cave

According to the instructions on the map, the children left the small wooden house and walked towards a cave. The cave was at the foot of a small hillside, and the entrance of the cave looked a bit gloomy. But the children encouraged each other and walked into the cave hand in hand. It was pitch - dark in the cave, and they could only move forward slowly with the help of a faint light. As they walked, they heard the gurgling sound of running water. It turned out that there was an underground river in the cave.

The children find the treasure chest by the river

After walking along the underground river for a while, they found a glittering treasure chest by the river. The children cheered with joy. They finally found the legendary treasure. Everyone worked together to move the treasure chest from the riverside to a dry place. When they opened the treasure chest, they found all kinds of small gifts inside, such as beautiful shells, exquisite small wooden carvings, and some old coins. Although these things didn't seem particularly valuable, for the children, they were the fruits of their bravery and wisdom and were the most precious treasures.

The children returned to the village happily with the treasure and told everyone in the village the good news. This winter, because of this snow - land treasure - hunting journey, became especially interesting and unforgettable.
