In a small town in France, there is a toy store named Starlight. During the day, this toy store looks no different from an ordinary one. It is filled with all kinds of toys, such as cute plush teddy bears, dashing toy soldiers, and colorful building blocks. However, whenever night falls and the moonlight shines on the store's window, wonderful things start to happen.
The toys seem to be enchanted and come to life one by one. The plush teddy bear stretches, jumps down from the shelf, and its fur looks even softer and fluffier in the moonlight. The toy soldiers line up neatly and start patrolling the store. Their little boots make a slight "tap - tap" sound on the floor. Those colorful building blocks also start to assemble themselves. One moment they form a small castle, and the next they turn into a bridge.
The bear jumps in front of the toy soldiers and asks curiously, "Are you tired of patrolling like this every day?" The toy soldiers straighten their chests and answer, "It's our duty to protect the toy store. We're not tired at all." Then they start chatting about the children they saw in the store during the day. The bear says that it really likes the little girl who always hugs it. Her laughter is as pleasant as a silver bell.
At this time, the castle and the bridge made of building blocks suddenly turn into a large stage, and colorful papers like snowflakes start floating around. The toys get excited and decide to hold a party of their own on this stage. The bear volunteers to be the first to perform. It staggers onto the stage and starts performing its best - loved somersaults.
The bear's performance earns enthusiastic applause from everyone. Then, the toy soldiers march onto the stage in an orderly manner and start performing their military drills. Their movements are uniform and very handsome. After the performance, all the toys rush onto the stage. They hold hands and start dancing merrily. The music seems to flow naturally in the air, a very wonderful melody.
But, happy times are always short - lived. The day gradually breaks, and the moonlight fades. The toys know that they have to return to their daytime state. So, reluctantly, they stop dancing and go back to their original positions. The bear climbs back onto the shelf, the toy soldiers return to their formation, and the building blocks go back to their scattered state. When the first ray of sunlight shines into the toy store, everything is calm again, as if nothing had happened. But in their hearts, the toys are all looking forward to the next night so that they can play to their hearts' content again.
