In a beautiful pond, there lives a group of tadpoles. They have big heads, black - gray bodies, and long tails that they swing as they swim merrily around. However, they have never seen their mother, so they decide to embark on a journey to find her.
As the tadpoles are swimming, they see a carp. They quickly swim over and ask, "Aunt Carp, where is our mother?" Aunt Carp smiles and says, "Your mother has four legs and a wide mouth. Go and look ahead." The tadpoles thank Aunt Carp and continue swimming forward.
After swimming for a while, the tadpoles see a turtle. They swim up to the turtle and ask loudly, "Grandpa Turtle, are you our mother?" Grandpa Turtle smiles and says, "I'm not your mother. Your mother has a white belly. Go and look ahead." The tadpoles leave disappointedly again.
The tadpoles keep swimming. Suddenly, they see a big frog squatting on a lotus leaf. This frog has four legs, a wide mouth, and a white belly. The tadpoles shout happily, "Mom, Mom!" Mother Frog looks down at the tadpoles and also smiles happily. From then on, the tadpoles and their mother live happily in the pond.
