In a small town in France, there lived a lovely little girl named Lucy. Lucy had a beloved rag doll. This rag doll was made for her by her grandmother with her own hands. The rag doll had big eyes and a red face, looking extremely cute. One day, while playing in the forest, Lucy accidentally got lost. She was both frightened and worried. All the surrounding trees looked so similar that she had no idea which way to go to get home.

The rag doll points in a direction

Lucy was on the verge of crying. Just then, the rag doll in her arms suddenly spoke: "Lucy, don't cry. Look at that big tree over there. There is a special mark on the trunk. As long as we walk in the direction of that mark, we can find the way home." Lucy looked at the rag doll in surprise, but still walked in the direction the rag doll had indicated.

Lucy and the rag doll are on their way together

They walked along the path for a while and suddenly came across a stream. The stream looked a bit deep, and Lucy didn't know how to cross it. The rag doll spoke again: "Lucy, let's look along the stream. There must be some stones we can step on." So, Lucy and the rag doll looked along the stream and, sure enough, found some stones above the water. They carefully stepped on the stones and crossed the stream.

The rag doll comforts Lucy

After crossing the stream, Lucy was a little tired, and she was also worried that she might encounter difficulties again. The rag doll comforted her, saying, "Lucy, be brave. We are not far from the town now. I will be with you all the time." With the rag doll's encouragement, Lucy was full of strength again.

Lucy and the rag doll see the town

Finally, they saw the outline of the town. Lucy was extremely happy. She hugged the rag doll tightly and said, "Dear rag doll, thank you. Without you, I wouldn't know what to do." The rag doll said with a smile, "We are good friends. Good friends should help each other." Since then, Lucy has cherished this talking rag doll even more, and their friendship has become even deeper.
