In an ancient forest in Germany, there was a very special tree. This tree was tall and large, and its trunk was so thick that it took several children holding hands to encircle it. Every morning, when the first ray of sunlight shone into the forest, this tree began to sing. One day, an evil wizard came to the forest. He was jealous that the tree was so popular among everyone, so he wanted to destroy this tree. He cast a spell, making dark clouds cover the sun and strong winds sweep through the forest, trying to make the big tree stop singing. However, this tree was not frightened by the wizard's magic. Instead, it sang even more loudly, and its song pierced through the dark clouds and dispelled the darkness. The strong wind also gradually subsided in the song of the big tree.
Seeing that the big tree was so brave, the small animals also stood up one after another to help the big tree. The little squirrel threw pinecones at the wizard, the little rabbit dug holes at the wizard's feet with its little paws, and the birds pecked at the wizard with their sharp beaks.
