In a peaceful small town in France, there lived a little girl full of curiosity. Her name was Lucy. In Lucy's room, there was an old mirror with an exquisitely carved frame. On both sides of the streets were low - lying stone houses with pointed roofs, and wisps of smoke curled up from the chimneys. People were dressed in medieval costumes. Men wore tight - fitting tops and loose pants, and women wore long skirts and headscarves. There were carriages coming and going on the streets, and the clatter of horse hooves could be heard. Lucy ran around excitedly on the streets, looking at those novel things. She saw a little girl selling flowers. Her basket was full of colorful flowers, and the fragrance of the flowers filled the air. Lucy wanted to say hello to her, but she found that she was like an invisible person. People here seemed unable to see her.
Suddenly, the surrounding scenery began to change again, and Lucy arrived at the time of the French Revolution. There were people everywhere on the streets.
