In a small village in Norway, there lived a group of kind and simple villagers. Winters here were often shrouded in blizzards, and the villagers were used to such a climate. They always made preparations in advance and waited for the blizzards to pass in their warm cottages.
However, one year the blizzard was extremely fierce. The howling wind blew violently, and the heavy snow buried the entire village like a white curtain. Many villagers were trapped in their homes, and some villagers who were out were trapped in the wild. Everyone waited in fear, hoping that someone would come to save them.

Eric had been good at walking in the snow since he was a child, and he was very familiar with the surrounding mountains and forests. Eric first came to several households on the edge of the village. He used his axe to break open the doors blocked by snow and rescued the trapped old people and children. He carried them on his back one by one and then followed the rope back to the safe area of the village.

Finally, in a valley, he found a group of trapped villagers. They hid in a cave and were almost losing hope. When they saw Eric appear, surprise and hope showed on their faces. Eric shared the food he brought with everyone and then led them to slowly walk back to the village along the rope.
