Story Summary

The story of colorful balloons carrying dreams flying far away.

In a small town in Japan, there lived a lovely little boy named Hiro. Hiro was a child full of dreams, and his heart was always filled with longing for far - off places.

One day, a grand festival was held in the town. There were laughter and joy everywhere in the streets. Hiro also excitedly shuttled through the crowd. Suddenly, he saw many colorful balloons floating in the sky. Those balloons sparkled with charming light under the sun. Hiro's eyes were immediately attracted. He thought those balloons were like elves carrying dreams.

Hiro ran to the uncle who sold balloons and bought the biggest and most beautiful colorful balloon with his pocket money that he had saved for a long time. He held the string of the balloon tightly, as if he were holding his own dream.

Hiro stands on the roof of the town, with the balloon floating above his head

Hiro took his balloon and ran to the highest roof in the town. He stood there, facing the gentle breeze, and the balloon fluttered merrily above his head. He closed his eyes and began to imagine the scene of the balloon taking him to fly far away. He wanted to see the ocean, to see the surging waves and the seagulls flying above the sea; he wanted to see the high mountains, to see the snow that never melts on the mountaintop and the deer running in the mountains.

Hiro whispered to the balloon, "Balloon, balloon, you must carry my dream and fly high and far away." At this time, a gust of wind blew, and the balloon seemed to understand Hiro's words and began to rise slowly.

Hiro looks at the balloon flying into the distance with an expectant look on his face

Hiro's eyes were fixed on the balloon tightly, and his face was full of expectation. The balloon flew higher and farther, gradually becoming a small colorful dot in the sky. Hiro knew that the balloon had carried his dream and embarked on a long journey.

Although Hiro's body was still standing on the roof of the town, his heart had already flown far away with the balloon. He believed that as long as he had a dream in his heart, one day he would go to those places he yearned for in person and realize every dream in his heart.
