Story Summary

The adventure of a magical flying castle.

In a small town in Germany, there lived a curious little boy named Hans. He was always full of fantasies about everything around him, especially the clouds in the sky. He often thought about how wonderful it would be to live on the clouds. One day, while he was playing in the forest, he suddenly heard a loud rumbling sound. He looked up and was astonished to see a huge castle slowly flying across the sky, with enormous wings flapping on both sides of the castle. Hans could hardly believe his eyes. He thought to himself that this must be a magical flying castle. The castle was emitting a charming light, as if calling out to him. So, Hans summoned his courage and chased in the direction the castle was flying.

Hans jumps under the castle, trying to get in

Hans chased for a long time and finally arrived at an open meadow. The flying castle was right above his head. He jumped up excitedly, trying to enter the castle. But the castle's gate was tightly closed. Hans walked around the castle and found a small window. He tried to climb in through the window, but it was a bit high. He jumped several times before finally grabbing the edge of the window. With great difficulty, he climbed into the castle and found that it was very large inside and there were many strange things. There were glowing paintings hanging in the corridor, and the figures in those paintings seemed to be moving.

Hans meets a little elf in the castle

While Hans was exploring the castle, he suddenly heard a clear laugh. He followed the direction of the sound and found a little elf. The elf was emitting a faint blue light all over, and there was a pair of transparent wings on its back. When the elf saw Hans, it was not afraid at all. Instead, it greeted him热情地. The elf told Hans that this castle was a magical castle and it could fly anywhere in the sky. Hans was very curious and asked the elf if he could visit the castle. The elf smiled and nodded, and then took Hans to visit various parts of the castle.

Hans and the elf start the flight mechanism of the castle together

During the visit, Hans saw a strange mechanism in a huge room. The elf told him that this was the mechanism that controlled the flight of the castle. Hans was very interested in this mechanism and asked the elf to let him try starting the castle's flight. The elf hesitated for a moment and then agreed. Hans and the elf stood in front of the mechanism together and operated it according to the method taught by the elf. As the mechanism started, the castle began to vibrate slightly and the lights around it also flickered.

The castle flies over beautiful mountains

The castle slowly took off and began to fly in the sky. Hans looked at the scenery outside through the window. He saw the rolling mountains below. The mountains were covered with green forests and white snow, and the sunlight shone on them, glittering with golden light. Hans was deeply attracted by this beautiful scenery. He felt as if he was in a fairy - tale world. The castle flew higher and higher, flying over high mountains, rivers, and many beautiful villages.

The castle is hit by a storm

Suddenly, a huge dark cloud appeared ahead. The elf said nervously that this was a storm. Soon, the storm swept in, and the castle began to shake violently. Hans and the elf held tightly to the things around them to avoid being thrown down. The strong wind howled and blew against the walls of the castle. The wings of the castle were also flapping with difficulty in the storm, looking as if they could be destroyed by the storm at any time.

Hans and the elf repair the castle together

After the storm, although the castle was still flying, it had suffered some damage. Hans and the elf decided to repair the castle together. They found some tools in the castle and then began to check the damaged parts of the castle. Hans was responsible for handing over the tools, and the elf used magic and tools to repair the wings and walls of the castle. Through their efforts, the castle slowly regained its original appearance.

Hans bids farewell to the elf and the castle

Hans had experienced many wonderful things in the castle, but he knew that he couldn't stay in the castle all the time. He missed his family and friends. So, he decided to say goodbye to the elf and the flying castle. Although the elf was a little reluctant, it still understood Hans' decision. Hans slowly climbed down from the window of the castle. He stood on the meadow and waved goodbye to the castle and the elf. The castle slowly flew into the sky, flying farther and farther away until it finally disappeared into the clouds. Hans returned to his small town with this wonderful experience, and he would never forget this flying castle and the lovely elf.
