In a small village in Germany, there lived a little girl named Lily. She was extremely fond of horses and often watched them grazing and running on the grasslands around the village. One day, Lily was awakened by a wonderful sound in her sleep. She rubbed her eyes and looked out of the window, only to see a magnificent rainbow stretching across the sky.
And on the rainbow, there was actually a horse running, with a strange glow all over its body. The body of this horse seemed to be woven with the colors of the rainbow, and each strand of hair sparkled with different colors. It was the Rainbow Horse. Lily opened her mouth in astonishment. Without bothering to put on her shoes, she ran out of the house.
The Rainbow Horse seemed to notice Lily. It slowly ran down from the rainbow and stopped in front of Lily. Lily carefully stretched out her hand to touch the mane of the Rainbow Horse. The Rainbow Horse carried Lily and galloped up, flying towards the rainbow. Along the way, the wind whistled past Lily's ears. She held tightly to the Rainbow Horse's neck, feeling both frightened and excited.
They ran higher and higher on the rainbow. Lily saw a beautiful scenery that she had never seen before. At her feet were rolling mountains and lush forests, and the far - away villages looked like little building blocks. The Rainbow Horse carried Lily through a sea of clouds made up of cotton - candy - like clouds. The clouds floated around them, like lovely little elves playing.
Suddenly, a huge rainbow vortex appeared ahead. The Rainbow Horse didn't hesitate at all and carried Lily into the vortex. Inside the vortex, there were flashing colorful lights all around. Lily felt as if she was in a dreamy world.
When they came out of the vortex, they arrived at a place full of magical creatures. There were rabbits with wings flying among the flower bushes, and there were also trees that could sing. The Rainbow Horse took Lily to play here to her heart's content. Lily danced and laughed with those magical creatures.
After having enough fun, the Rainbow Horse carried Lily back to the village along the rainbow. Lily got down from the Rainbow Horse's back. She knew that this was an unforgettable experience. Since then, whenever Lily saw a rainbow, she would think of that magical Rainbow Horse, and her heart was full of warmth and joy.
