In a large forest in Russia, winter is approaching. The little bear, the little hedgehog, the little squirrel and many other small animals are all good friends. The little bear and the little hedgehog are about to hibernate soon, so the small animals decide to hold a special hibernation party for them.
Everyone gets busy. The little rabbits are in charge of decorating the venue. They spread soft leaves and hay on the open space under the big tree, just like laying a colorful carpet. The little squirrel hangs up small lanterns made of nut shells on the tree. In the glow of the setting sun, they twinkle with warm light.
All the small animals are preparing delicious food for the party. The little monkeys pick ripe fruits from the trees, including bright red apples and yellow pears. The little foxes bring fresh mushrooms in small baskets. The little birds carry sweet nectar in their beaks. The nectar is placed in small flower - shaped cups and looks extremely inviting. Everyone puts the food on the table made of a large tree stump, full of love for their friends who are about to hibernate.
The party begins. The little nightingale stands on a branch and sings a beautiful song, with a melodious and gentle voice. The little fox plays a violin made of vines, and the little rabbits beat drums made of small branches. Other small animals gather around, hold hands and start to dance. Their steps are light, and their faces are filled with happy smiles. The little bear and the little hedgehog sit in the middle, surrounded by the enthusiasm of their friends, and they feel warm in their hearts.
As the party is coming to an end, the small animals take out the gifts they have prepared for their friends who are about to hibernate one after another. The little squirrel gives the little bear a jar of honey that it has carefully collected, and says to the little bear, "This jar of honey is very sweet. I hope you have a good dream during hibernation." The little rabbit gives the little hedgehog a small blanket made of soft rabbit fur and says, "This blanket will keep you warm during hibernation." The little bear and the little hedgehog are moved and accept the gifts. They hug each of their friends tightly.
Finally, the little bear and the little hedgehog enter their caves with the love and blessings of their friends, ready to start hibernating. The small animals are also looking forward to seeing each other again next spring, when they can play together in the forest again.
