In a quiet town in France, there lived a little boy named Pierre. Pierre was especially fond of exploration, and the attic in his house was his little world. One day, while rummaging through old items in the attic, he discovered a large dusty book. The cover of the book had strange symbols and exquisite patterns. Pierre had never seen such a book before, and he opened it curiously. As soon as he opened it, a soft light radiated from the pages. To his surprise, he found that it was a magic book, which said that as long as one silently made a wish in their heart, the wish could come true.
Pierre was extremely happy. The first thing that came to his mind was to have a great amount of candies. He closed his eyes and silently made this wish in his heart. When he opened his eyes again, the room was filled with all kinds of delicious candies, piled up like small mountains. Pierre happily ate the candies, but soon he realized there was a problem. So many candies attracted a lot of ants, and after eating too many candies, his teeth began to ache.
Pierre realized that he couldn't use the power of the magic book so casually. He decided to use the magic book to make his tooth stop hurting. So he held the magic book again and silently made the wish for his tooth to get better. Soon, his tooth stopped hurting and the ants disappeared as well.
After this incident, Pierre became cautious. He knew that although the power of the magic book was powerful, if not used carefully, it might bring unexpected troubles. He carefully placed the magic book in a hidden place in the attic. He thought that in the future, he must think carefully, and only when there was a real need and make sure that no bad results would be brought, could he use the power of the magic book.
