In a far - away Russia, there was a small, cold village. In winter, the place was covered all over with thick snow, just like a white world. There lived a lovely little girl in the village. Her name was Anna. Anna's family was not wealthy, and she didn't have a lot of beautiful clothes, but she had a very special scarf. This scarf was knitted by her grandmother herself. The scarf was red, like a fire in winter, and there were also some simple yet very warm patterns on it.

Anna liked her scarf very much and wore it every day. One day, a new little friend came to the village. He was a little boy named Peter. Peter moved to this village with his family. Peter had just arrived here and was not quite used to such cold weather yet. The clothes he wore were a little thin, and he was always shivering with cold. When Anna saw Peter like this, she felt very sorry for him. Without hesitation, she took off her beloved scarf and handed it to Peter, saying, "Peter, put on this scarf. It's very warm." Peter looked at Anna in surprise. He hadn't expected this newly - met little friend to be so friendly.

Peter put on the scarf and immediately felt warm. He said happily to Anna, "Thank you, Anna. This scarf is really warm." Since then, Peter and Anna had become the best of friends. They played together every day, whether making snowmen in the snow or skating on the frozen river. Peter always wore Anna's scarf. This scarf was like the bond of their friendship, tying them closely together.

Time passed quickly, and winter was almost over. Peter's family bought him new thick clothes, and he no longer needed Anna's scarf to keep warm. One day, Peter came to Anna's home. He took the scarf off his neck and carefully handed it to Anna, saying, "Anna, this scarf has accompanied me through the coldest winter. Now I'm going to return it to you." Anna took the scarf and said with a smile, "Peter, this scarf is no longer just mine. It is also a witness to our friendship."

Although winter had passed, the friendship between Anna and Peter remained in their hearts forever. They were still together every day, sharing each other's joys and sorrows. And that magic scarf was well - preserved by Anna. Whenever she saw it, Anna would remember the warm friendship between her and Peter.
