In a small town in Germany, there lived a little girl named Lily. Lily was especially fond of playing in the mysterious forest on the outskirts of the town. One day, as she was exploring the forest as usual, she suddenly came across a flower cluster she had never seen before. The flowers in the cluster were colorful and in full bloom, and each one emitted a charming fragrance.
Just as Lily was about to reach out and touch a particularly large red flower, the flower actually spoke: "Little girl, don't pick me casually." Lily was startled and stared at the flower with wide eyes, stammering, "You... how can you talk?" The flower gently swayed its petals as if it were laughing: "We are magic flowers and have been waiting for the right person here all this time."
Lily was both astonished and excited. She quickly asked the flower, "Why do you have magic?" The flower replied, "We have existed for a very long time. There is a mysterious power in this forest that has given us the ability to speak and sense human emotions. However, we can only talk to children with kind hearts." Lily said happily, "Then I must be a kind - hearted child." Then, the other flowers also began to speak one after another. They told Lily many ancient stories about this forest, such as that there used to be elves living in the forest. They danced under the moonlight and would help lost small animals find their way home.
Lily was completely captivated and forgot all about the time. As the sky gradually darkened, the flowers said to Lily, "It's getting dark. You should go home, or your family will be worried." Lily was a little reluctant, but she knew she had to go home. She made an appointment with the flowers that she would come back again tomorrow.
From then on, Lily came to this flower cluster every day to chat with the flowers. The flowers taught Lily a great deal of knowledge about nature, such as how to tell directions by the stars and how to judge the weather by the songs of the birds. Lily would also tell the flowers the interesting things that happened at school, and the flowers were always very interested.
However, one day, when Lily came to the forest, she found that the flower cluster was surrounded by some strangers. It turned out that some merchants had heard about this talking flower cluster and wanted to dig them up and sell them in the city. Lily was very worried. She rushed over and said to those people, "You can't take these flowers away. They are alive and are a part of this forest." But those people simply wouldn't listen to Lily and continued to prepare their digging tools.
Lily stood in front of the flower cluster, preventing those people from approaching. Suddenly, the talking flowers all shook together and released a magical light. The people who wanted to dig up the flowers were dazzled by the light and dropped their tools and ran away. Lily turned around happily, and the flowers said gratefully to Lily, "Thank you, Lily. You are our true friend."
After this incident, Lily cherished these talking flowers even more. Her friendship with the flowers also became deeper, and she knew that she would always protect this magical flower cluster.
