In a small village in India, there lived a little boy named Raju. Raju was very kind, but his family was very poor and often didn't have enough to eat. One day, while Raju was playing in the forest, he found a very strange drum. The drum looked very old and was engraved with strange symbols all over it.
Raju couldn't help but give the drum a gentle tap. Suddenly, a pile of delicious food appeared in front of him. Raju was extremely happy. He quickly took the food home for his family to eat. His family was very surprised, and Raju told them about the drum. Since then, whenever the family lacked something, Raju would tap the drum. Sometimes it was beautiful clothes, and sometimes it was new furniture.
Gradually, Raju's desires grew bigger and bigger. He was no longer satisfied with basic living needs and began to want a great deal of gold and silver treasures. He kept tapping the drum, and the house was filled with treasures. However, Raju didn't feel satisfied; instead, he wanted more and more.
Suddenly one day, when Raju tapped the drum again, the drum didn't produce anything anymore. Raju was very angry. He hit the drum hard, but the drum still didn't respond. At this time, Raju realized that he had been too greedy. He looked at the room full of treasures but found that his family was no longer as happy as before, and because of the treasures, some bad people also coveted them.
Raju began to reflect on his behavior. He decided to distribute the extra treasures to the poor in the village. After he did this, he gently tapped the drum again, and the drum began to fulfill his reasonable wishes once more. From then on, Raju learned to know when to stop and only used the magic of the drum when he really needed it. He and his family lived a happy life again.
