In an ancient forest in Denmark, there lived a group of magical tree spirits. The forest was lush and green, and the sunlight shone through the gaps in the leaves, creating patches of golden light. The tree spirits hid among these big trees, and they were the guardians of the forest.
There was a tree spirit named Green Bud, who was the youngest and most curious in the tree spirit family. Green Bud's body was made up of tree trunks and branches, his hair was like green vines fluttering in the wind, and his eyes were like two bright pieces of amber.
One day, Green Bud found a small tree hole in the trunk of the big tree where he lived. He curiously put his eyes close to the tree hole, wanting to see what was inside. Suddenly, a little squirrel poked its head out of the tree hole. The little squirrel was so startled when it saw Green Bud that it almost fell from the tree. Green Bud quickly steadied the little squirrel with his vine - like arms. After the little squirrel recovered, it told Green Bud that some strange humans had come to the forest. They were carrying strange tools and seemed to be looking for something.
Green Bud was very worried after hearing this. He decided to go find the elder of the tree spirits to ask what to do. He shuttled through the forest along the passages made of tree trunks and branches. Along the way, he saw that other tree spirits were also whispering to each other, and they all seemed to be worried about this matter.
Finally, Green Bud came to the ancient big tree where the elder of the tree spirits lived. The elder was very large, and his body was covered with the marks of time. Green Bud told the elder what the little squirrel had said. After listening, the elder closed his eyes and thought for a while, then slowly said, "Those humans may be looking for the treasure in the forest, but our mission as tree spirits is to protect this forest and not let them break the balance of the forest."
After hearing the elder's words, Green Bud was filled with a sense of mission. He volunteered to the elder, "Elder, I want to go see what those humans are actually doing." The elder looked at Green Bud's determined eyes and nodded, agreeing to his request.
Green Bud carefully approached the human camp. He saw that the humans had set up tents one by one, and the ground was full of various tools. Several people in strange clothes were pointing at a map, as if discussing the route. Green Bud hid behind a big tree and carefully observed their every move. Suddenly, he saw a human holding an axe and walking towards a small sapling.
Green Bud was extremely worried. He knew that this small sapling was a symbol of new life in the forest and could not be cut down. Without thinking much, he used his magic to make the surrounding vines grow rapidly. The vines wrapped around the human's feet, making him unable to move. The other humans were panicked when they saw this situation.
At this time, Green Bud walked out from behind the big tree. When the humans saw this strange creature, they were all startled. Green Bud used his magic to make the humans able to understand his words. He said, "You can't cut down the trees in the forest. This forest is the home of our tree spirits and also the home of many animals. If you destroy it, you will break the balance here."
The humans were very surprised after hearing Green Bud's words. One person who seemed to be the leader stood out and said to Green Bud, "We came here to look for the legendary treasure. We thought the treasure was hidden under one of the big trees in this forest." Green Bud shook his head and said, "There is no treasure as you said here, only the vitality and harmony given by nature."
After hearing Green Bud's words, the humans began to reflect on their actions. They put away their axes and other tools and decided to leave the forest.
After the humans left, the forest regained its former peace. Green Bud became a little hero in the forest, and the tree spirits were all proud of him. From then on, Green Bud guarded this forest more diligently. Together with other tree spirits, he made this forest in Denmark always full of vitality and energy.
