The Little Duck and the Rainbow
Near a beautiful pond, there lives a lovely little duck. Every day, the little duck swims around in the pond and plays with the little fish and shrimps. One day, suddenly, a magnificent rainbow appeared in the sky. The little duck had never seen such a beautiful thing before, and its eyes were immediately drawn to it. The little duck thought to itself that it must be a very magical place, and it decided to go and see the end of the rainbow.
The little duck said goodbye to its friends in the pond and set off on the journey to chase the rainbow. It walked along the path beside the pond. Along the way, it met many little insects. The little insects were all very surprised and asked the little duck where it was going. The little duck proudly told them that it was going to the end of the rainbow. The little insects all thought that the little duck's idea was crazy, but the little duck didn't care. Its heart was full of longing for the end of the rainbow.
The little duck entered a vast meadow. The grass in the meadow grew very tall, almost covering the little duck's body. The little duck walked with difficulty in the grass, and sometimes it would even trip over. But the little duck didn't give up. It saw that the rainbow was right in front of it, and the bright colors seemed to be calling it. The little duck found some beautiful little flowers in the meadow. It thought that it would be wonderful if it took these little flowers to the end of the rainbow.
The little duck continued to move forward and came across a wide river. Looking at the rapid river water, the little duck was a little frightened. It had never swum across such a wide river before. The little duck walked back and forth along the riverbank, trying to find a safe way to cross the river. It saw some floating branches on the river surface. The little duck had an idea. It collected the branches and made a simple raft. The little duck climbed onto the raft carefully and began to cross the river.
The little duck successfully crossed the river and was closer to the rainbow. The colors of the rainbow were even more vivid, and the little duck could feel that magical power. The little duck quickened its pace. It couldn't wait to reach the end of the rainbow. It imagined that there were countless treasures and wonderful things waiting for it there.
Finally, the little duck reached the end of the rainbow. It was like a dreamy world here, with all kinds of beautiful flowers and glittering gems. The little duck was extremely happy. It planted the little flowers it had brought from the meadow here. The little duck knew that as long as one has a dream and bravely pursues it, it will surely come true. After playing at the end of the rainbow for a while, the little duck set off on its way home with full of memories. It wanted to tell its friends in the pond about this wonderful experience and encourage them to bravely chase their own dreams as well.
