Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess named Snow White. Her stepmother was a very jealous queen who couldn't bear Snow White being more beautiful than her. The queen had a magic mirror. Every day, she would ask the mirror, "Mirror, mirror, who is the most beautiful woman in the world?"
One day, the mirror replied, "Your Majesty, in this world, Snow White is a thousand times more beautiful than you." The queen was extremely angry. She ordered a hunter to take Snow White into the forest and kill her, and bring back her heart as proof.
The hunter led Snow White into the forest, but he couldn't bear to kill her. So he let Snow White go and told her never to come back. Snow White got lost in the forest. She was very frightened, but she kept walking until she found a small house.
Snow White knocked gently on the door. There was no answer, so she pushed the door open and walked in. She found that everything in the house was very small. It turned out that this was the home of the seven dwarfs. The seven dwarfs worked in the mine and hadn't come back yet. Snow White was very tired. The mirror replied, "In this world, Snow White, who lives in the seven dwarfs' house, is a thousand times more beautiful than you." The queen was very angry and decided to go and kill Snow White herself.
The queen dressed up as an old woman and brought a poisoned apple to the dwarfs' house. She tricked Snow White into believing that this apple was a magic apple, and that if she ate it, she could make a wish. Snow White believed her and took a bite of the apple, and then fell to the ground.
When the dwarfs came back, they found Snow White lying on the ground. They were very sad. They thought Snow White was dead, so they made a transparent coffin and put Snow White in it.
One day, a prince passed by. He saw Snow White and was deeply attracted by her beauty. He asked the dwarfs to give Snow White to him. He wanted to take her back to his own country. The dwarfs agreed. When the prince's servants lifted the coffin, they accidentally tripped. This jolt made Snow White spit out the poisoned apple, and she woke up.
The prince was very happy. He took Snow White back to his own country, and they held a grand wedding. And that jealous queen, when she knew that Snow White was still alive, she fainted from anger. Since then, Snow White and the prince have lived a happy life.
