Once upon a time, in a mysterious world of magic, there was a young boy who was eager to become a great magician. This boy became an apprentice to an old magician. The old magician had a long white beard and was extremely powerful in magic. He could make flowers bloom instantly and turn stones into small animals.
The apprentice was always impatient to learn more and more powerful magic. The old magician always told him that magic required patience and caution to learn, but the apprentice didn't take these words to heart.
One day, the old magician went out and would not be back for a long time. The apprentice thought this was a great opportunity to learn powerful magic. He came to the old magician's magic room, which was full of dusty magic books and strange magic props everywhere. The apprentice rummaged through the magic room, trying to find the powerful magic spell that the old magician had hidden. Finally, he found a seemingly very powerful magic spell in an ancient large book. This spell could summon huge water elements. The apprentice thought to himself that this must be a really cool magic. If he could learn it, he could prove that he was an amazing magician.
He didn't read the precautions after the spell carefully and began to recite the spell. As he recited, a small water vortex appeared in the magic array, and then the vortex grew larger and larger, and the water began to gush out uncontrollably. The apprentice was terrified. He tried to stop this magic, but he hadn't learned how to terminate the magic being cast yet.
The water kept gushing out and soon flooded his knees and was still rising rapidly. All kinds of things in the magic room were floating in the water, and some even bumped into the apprentice. He shouted loudly, hoping someone could come to save him, but there was no one around. The water had risen to his chest, and he felt it was becoming difficult to breathe. He swam desperately towards the door, but the door had been magically locked, and he couldn't get out.
Just when he thought he was going to be drowned, the old magician suddenly appeared. The old magician waved his magic wand and recited a spell, and the water element slowly calmed down, and the water began to recede.
The old magician looked at the apprentice, who was soaking wet, with a terrified and guilty look on his face, and sighed gently. The apprentice knew he had caused a great disaster. He lowered his head and didn't dare to look into the old magician's eyes. The old magician didn't scold him severely but said earnestly, "Child, I told you before that magic is not for playing around randomly. Every magic has its power and rules. You must learn patiently and use it cautiously, otherwise, serious consequences will be caused."
The apprentice listened to the old magician's words and deeply realized his mistake. Since then, he was no longer eager for quick success but listened carefully to the old magician's teachings and learned magic step by step. Many years later, he finally became an excellent magician and passed on the old magician's words to his own apprentices.
