In far - away Germany, there is a mysterious place where a Starlight Cottage stands. This cottage is hidden deep within a secluded forest, surrounded by tall trees whose branches and leaves are as thick as huge green umbrellas. The roof of the cottage is pointed and covered with something that sparkles, as if countless tiny stars were embedded in the tiles. Every night, the whole cottage emits a soft and warm glow, looking like a brilliant star fallen on the ground from a distance.
It turns out that star elves live in this cottage. The star elves all have small bodies and transparent wings, and their eyes are as bright and twinkling as stars. They rest in the cottage during the day and come out to be active at night. What the star elves like to do most is to collect the scattered starlight fragments in the human world and then hang these fragments in every corner of the cottage to make it even brighter.
There is a star elf named Xiaoxing, who is especially industrious. Every night, when other star elves are still slowly waking up, Xiaoxing has already started looking for starlight fragments. Xiaoxing was a little worried and tried hard to find the places where starlight could still shine through. Suddenly, Xiaoxing discovered a huge starlight fragment emitting intense light.
