In a peaceful small village in France, there lived a little girl named Lucy. Lucy was an extremely kind - hearted child and was always full of love and care for the people around her. Whether it was the old people in the neighborhood or the small animals, whenever anyone needed help, Lucy would not hesitate to offer a helping hand.
One day, Lucy went to the forest to pick mushrooms as usual. The trees in the forest were lush and green, and the sunlight shone through the gaps between the leaves, forming patches of golden light. Lucy was humming a little tune while carefully looking for mushrooms.
Suddenly, she heard a faint whimper. Following the sound, she found an injured little rabbit. The rabbit's leg was scratched by a branch and it was looking at Lucy pitifully. Lucy gently picked up the rabbit and used her handkerchief to bandage its wound. She comforted the rabbit, telling it not to be afraid.
Lucy continued walking in the forest with the rabbit in her arms. She wanted to find some herbs to completely heal the rabbit's injury. Just then, the surrounding light suddenly became bright, and an elf appeared in front of her. The elf's wings were glittering with colorful lights and its eyes were friendly.
The elf smiled at Lucy and said, "You kind - hearted child, your kindness has touched me. I'm going to give you a present." Lucy looked at the elf with a bit of surprise and curiosity. The elf waved its magic wand, and a flash of light passed. Lucy found that her basket was filled with the finest mushrooms, and these mushrooms would never go bad.
Lucy happily thanked the elf. The elf told her that this was a reward for her kindness and hoped that she could keep being so kind. Since then, Lucy has been more determined to be a kind - hearted person, and she also used those magical mushrooms to help many poor families in the village. And she and the rabbit became good friends and often played together in the forest.
