In a small village in Norway, one winter morning, children built a snowman in the snowfield. This snowman was quite different. When the children put a carrot as its nose, it suddenly blinked its eyes made of coal balls and started to speak. "Hi, kids. Thank you for creating me." The children were startled at first, but soon became excited because they had a talking snowman friend.
The snowman and the children had a very happy time. It listened to the children telling stories about the village and told the children how it felt to come from the snow. However, as days passed by, the snowman had a wish in his heart. It said to the children, "I've heard that spring is very beautiful, with flowers in bloom and trees in shade. I really want to see what spring looks like." The children were a bit embarrassed because everyone knew that snowmen belong to winter and would melt once spring arrives.
Even though they knew there were many difficulties, the children still decided to help the snowman fulfill his wish. They thought of many ways, such as asking a magician for help. But the magician said he couldn't go against the laws of nature. After knowing this, the snowman wasn't very depressed. It said, "I'm already very lucky to have friends like you."
Time passed quickly. Winter gradually passed and the weather began to get warmer. The snowman's body started to melt slowly, and the children were very sad. But the snowman smiled and said to them, "Don't be sad. Before I disappear, being able to feel your warmth and friendship is enough."
Just when the snowman was about to melt completely, a miracle happened. A wise man in the village brought a magic seed. He planted the seed in the snowfield at the snowman's feet. The seed quickly germinated and grew, with tender green leaves and beautiful flowers emerging. The cold air emitted by the flowers made the snowman's body stop melting, and a small ice - and - snow world was formed around it.
The snowman was extremely happy. Finally, it saw the elements of spring - flowers and green leaves. It excitedly said to the children, "Look, this is what spring looks like. How beautiful!" The children also cheered. They sang and danced around the snowman.
Although this ice - and - snow world wouldn't last long, the snowman's wish had been fulfilled. In this special spring, it and the children fully enjoyed this wonderful time until it finally disappeared slowly. But the friendship between it and the children, as well as this story full of love and miracles, has always remained in the village and been told by people.
