In a small village in China, there lived a little boy named Xiaoming. On sunny days, the whole village seemed to be covered by a large golden dome. The sunlight shone on the fields, and the wheat seedlings in the fields were like a vast green ocean, swaying gently in the breeze. The adults were busy in the fields, while the children were playing on the open ground in the village. Xiaoming thought that a sunny day was like nature smiling, and the brilliant sunlight was nature's teeth, and every ray of light was full of vitality. He liked flying kites with his friends most on sunny days. Watching the kites flying high in the blue sky, it seemed as if he himself had flown to the clouds along with the kites.
However, sometimes it rained. At the beginning of the rain, Xiaoming was a little unhappy because he couldn't go out to play. The raindrops hitting the window were like nature beating a small drum. But when he saw that the rain had moistened the dry land, and the land seemed to be drinking water greedily, he understood the meaning of rainy days. The adults were also very happy because the rain would make the crops grow better. Moreover, the air after the rain was particularly fresh, and a beautiful rainbow would appear. When Xiaoming saw the rainbow, he thought it was a surprise from nature for him.
So, from then on, Xiaoming liked both sunny days and rainy days. Sunny days had the joy of sunny days, and one could run and play outdoors to one's heart's content; rainy days had the beauty of rainy days, and one could see the fresh appearance of nature after being washed by the rain. He knew that these two different kinds of weather were gifts from nature to people, and each kind of weather had a unique meaning.
